The life-story of Karola Oesterreicher was written in German. Here you can see the first pages of the handwritten original of her testimony, which she dedicated to her friend Hilda Drill (White), who was from Laa, too. Although Hilda lived in Australia and Karola in Israel, they remained frieds all their lives. Hilda visited her in erarly summer of 1994. Karola gave her the testemony then, which she wrote into a red exercise-book. Hilda realized the historic importance of the document and gave it to me, when she came to Laa during the course of her trip.
