Felix Yokel, PhD

Dr. Felix Yokel played an essential role in the memorial’s history. Without his ideas, his big donation and the blueprints conceived by his son, the architect Uri Yokel, the monument would not exist today.
We are thankful that he and his whole family came all the way from the US to the presentation. We are especially thankful considering that he passed away in November of the same year.
In the middle ages the people thought that they were tall because they were standing on the shoulders of giants (meaning the thinkers of the antiquity). Felix, you were our giant.
